Postdoctoral Position – Project “NeuraLasers: Smart Technologies for Brain Stimulation”
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in the framework of the project “NeuraLasers: Smart Technologies for Brain Stimulation” (CPP2023-010818), funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (MICIU) and the State Research Agency (AEI) under grant MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033, and co-funded by the European Union (FEDER, UE).
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research at the intersection of biomedical engineering, neuromodulation, and health science, with the goal of developing innovative technologies for brain stimulation and improving the treatment of neurological disorders.
Candidate Profile
Required qualifications:
PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated predoctoral research experience in biomedical engineering, ideally involving neuromodulation, biomedical signal and image analysis, and data science applications in brain diseases.
Preferred qualifications:
Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical processes, and medical technologies.
Proficiency in technological tools and specialized software commonly used in biomedical research.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with creativity and innovation to develop new solutions in therapeutic technologies.
Excellent communication skills and experience working in multidisciplinary teams alongside healthcare professionals, scientists, and engineers.
High standards of professional ethics, responsibility, and a commitment to continuous learning.
Genuine interest in the development of technological solutions to improve healthcare, particularly in the field of brain diseases.
Position Details
Contract type: Full-time postdoctoral position
Location: Toledo, Spain
Gross annual salary: Minimum €28,000
Start date: As soon as possible
Duration: indefinite
